My Favorite Dark End Times Song

This is "White Horse," the terrific song from Michael Omartian that was the title track to his debut album in the late 1970s. Listen to one of my all-time favorite guitar solos on this song, starting at about the 4:23 point in the song and lasting just about exactly one minute. It's played by the soaring, cerebral, and tasteful Larry Carlton. The theology of the song is hidden in a bunch of mysterious-sounding phrases that sound like they came from the book of Revelation, but it doesn't seem like the guy singing the song got raptured in any event. Whether anyone else did is open to conjecture.
